The Imitation Game This biopic relates how Turing saved an estimated 14 million lives and shortened WW2 by 2 years by breaking the Enigma code in February 1940.
The Enigma code ran on a German Enigma_machine invented in 1923.
The movie's title refers to the Turing_test, which Turing invented in 1949. He called it "The Imitation Game", to answer the question: "Can machines think?"
