About US

The Computer Science Department offers programs that prepare students for careers as computer professionals and/or for continued study. The major provides a broad-based background in computer science and includes courses in computer software, computer systems, mathematics, network security, and computer hardware. We are committed to offering courses that stay current with changing technologies. Our BS degree is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org​​, which means our program meets the highest national standards.

Well-known Professor Viacheslav Voronin and Professor Evgenii Semenishchev visited the CS Department (Computational Vision and Learning Laboratory directed by Distinughished Professor Sos Agaian) from 10 to 20 April 2019. Both scholars are from Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation) visited the laboratory as visiting researchers. This is their third visit in the last eight months. They are working on the development of an innovation 3-D and augmented reality musculoskeletal analytic system. This system allows constructing a patient-specific bone implant. clicked here for details.
